His Eminence KYRILL Archbishop of San Francisco and Western America welcomes clergy, parishioners and pilgrims to Holy Virgin Cathedral for the Feast of our beloved Holy Hierarch John of Shanghai and San Francisco the Wonderworker being held on July 2nd  and 3rd, 2021.

This year the number of clergy permitted to serve in the Holy Altar during the Divine Services of the Feast will be limited to a select few.

NOTE: Only those clergy who have received a personal summons will be permitted to concelebrate. This includes the Divine Services of the All-night Vigil on Friday July 2nd and both Divine Liturgies on Saturday July 3rd.

Any canonical clergy in good standing may partake of Holy Communion on Saturday at either Divine Liturgy. However, clergy that have NOT received a personal summons to concelebrate are requested to pray in the nave of the cathedral together with the faithful. After the “Holy Things are for the Holy,” they are to enter the Holy Altar already vested in stole and cuffs (without phelonion) and commune according to rank. Use gold vestments.

Saturday, July 3rd
Early Liturgy at 7:30 AM
